Allison Magness, PhD, RD
Dr. Allison Magness is Senior Nutrition Scientist with 2M Research. She is a highly skilled program evaluator and project manager with expertise in public health, dietetics, and nutrition assistance programs. Prior to joining 2M, while at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service, Dr. Magness planned, designed, and managed research contracts totaling over $40 million that evaluated federal nutrition assistance programs, including the National School Lunch Program, Summer Food Service Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. Dr. Magness earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Registered Dietitian.
