Cindy Romero, MS
Cindy Romero is a Communications Specialist with 2M Research. Ms. Romero earned a Master of Science in Applied Anthropology from the University of North Texas, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a minor in Writing, from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has 10 years of professional experience in writing content for a wide variety of audiences and for various media including magazine feature stories, technical documents, marketing brochures, audio scripts, promotional materials, websites, training manuals, and scientific research reports; she also has 7 years’ experience in editing and proofreading.
In addition to supporting 2M’s qualitative research efforts, Ms. Romero’s prior research experience includes conducting semi-structured interviews, moderating focus groups, participant observation, and qualitative data analysis for an applied social research project which focused on public health and obesity prevention in low-income areas through the use of organic community gardens. She currently supports 2M’s communications efforts, quality assurance protocol, and 2M’s contract work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USDA Food and Nutrition Service, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation.
