Laura Ceglio, MPH
Laura Ceglio is a Public Health Research Analyst with 2M Research. She received a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining 2M, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Texas Prevention Research Center where she led recruitment and facilitated quantitative and qualitative data collection for an NIH-funded research study. Data collection methods included conducting focus groups and lab-based sessions during pilot testing as well as facilitating semi-structured interviews and computer-based quantitative surveys with study participants.
While at 2M, Ms. Ceglio has supported contracts conducting program evaluation, policy analysis, and case studies for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). Currently, Ms. Ceglio is supporting 2M’s contract work with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide states with technical assistance and strategic planning to meet Affordable Care Act (ACA) provider screening and enrollment requirements. She has served as an integral part of the Technical Assistance Team facilitating As-Is Assessment on-site data collection with states through focus groups, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
