As Vice President of Public Health Research and Practice, Dr. Holden will lead 2M Research Services’ efforts to provide its Federal and commercial clients with first-class consulting services in conducting non-communicable and infectious disease program planning, implementation, and evaluation. As part of 2M’s Executive Leadership Team, she will be involved in strategic planning for the company overall, helping to ensure delivery of high-quality, timely deliverables to all 2M clients. Dr. Holden is a proven senior executive with over 25 years of experience implementing and evaluating health programs, including those at the international, national, state, and local levels. Prior to joining 2M, Dr. Holden worked for RTI for 18 years, ultimately serving as Senior Director of Community Health Promotion Research. Dr. Holden led and supported work across a number of Federal agencies, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the National Cancer Institute. Her areas of expertise include chronic disease prevention and health promotion, public health program evaluations, and technical assistance. She is the author of “A Practical Guide to Program Evaluation Planning (2008),” published by Sage Publications. Dr. Holden received her PhD in Community Psychology from North Carolina State University with a minor in Health Policy and Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
