2M Research Services, LLC Receives HUBZone Certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration

May 1, 2014

2M Research Services, LLC is pleased to announce that it has received the SBA HUBZone Certification. The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to Federal procurement opportunities. These preferences go to small businesses that employ staff who live in a HUBZone Designated Area and maintain a principal office in a designated HUBZone. The HUBZone Certification complements 2M’s SBA 8a Small Business Development Program Certification. The HUBZone designation allows 2M to be eligible to receive both competitive and sole-source contract awards from the Federal government as well as a 10% pricing preference on full and open competitive solicitations.

“As a result of being one of the few SBA 8a and HUBZone Certified research, program evaluation, and technical assistance small business consulting firms in the Federal market place, we believe that we have positioned 2M well for future growth and long-term sustainability,” says 2M’s founder and CEO, Dr. Marcus Martin. “In addition, we are committed to expanding employment opportunities to residents living in HUBZone-designated communities.”
